We are pleased to present the website developed by us, which offers a platform for the Scientific Student Conference organised by the Hungarian Students' Association of Târgu Mures. The website includes a complex system, completed with a conference registration process, administration interface and other extras.

Our Conference Purpose and Background:

The Scientific Students' Conference has a long history, as the Hungarian Students' Association of Târgu Mures has been organizing events since 1993. The conference is unique in the medical education in Transylvania, as it gives students the opportunity to present their scientific work in their mother tongue, Hungarian. Our aim is to promote involvement in scientific research and to give students the opportunity to present their findings at a high quality conference. The event not only fosters a competitive spirit, but also develops presentation and debate skills, and provides an opportunity to discuss scientific issues and gain knowledge.

Conference Programmes and Participants:

In addition to the conference sessions, internationally renowned professors and experts will give scientific lectures, and a number of workshops will be held. The event traditionally receives a lot of media coverage, which gives it a high national profile. In recent years, the conferences have been attended by renowned experts such as Prof. Dr. András Szent-Györgyi (Boston), Prof. Dr. György Kunos (Washington) and many other distinguished scientists. The 2019 event is expected to bring together around 200 Târgu Mureș academics and 800-1000 students, of which more than 300 students will present their own scientific papers.

Scientific Student Work and Participation:

For the participants of the conferences, it is a unique way of life that teaches humanity, demandingness, cooperation and tolerance. Alongside, or rather before, professional success, the work, which involves academic humility, diligence and perseverance, conveys a set of values and contributes in the long run to the development of the Hungarian scientific life and medical education in Transylvania.
